I Started Going to My Job. I Hate Commute.

Bro this is the first j*b (kids like censoring the word JOB nowadays) that i have to commute. At first i was kinda happy since i get to ride jeeps and lrts, i only do that when going out with my family and friends. I thought this could help me know how to commute to anywhere or heck, make as my time to write. But boy oh boy, the imagination is far from the truth.

I freaking commute. I WAS GASLIGHTING myself into liking it when i know from the start that i dont like going miles away from my home on a daily basis. But i had reasons on why i did this. To be far away from my dorm.

An opportunity came to me with a better pay. A new job, new people, new place. While the environment where i am currently working is beautiful compared to my prior spot, what detracts me from this place is how far this is to me. But with what im getting compensated at? I can handle it for now. While im just adjusting to the pay, the work, the new change, I should not stray away from goal of getting rich, but on my own terms. One of these days, i’m gonna realize that my salary is not enough, the time wasted on commute did not equate to my compensation and i will have to move to somewhere close to home, no commute. Maybe even work at home?

This is just a buffer on to what should come in the future. I dont care when will this happen. The itch to create my own path is immense not to pursue. While this heck of a commute reduces the time I need to have my moments with my computer to learn code and what not, this commute made me realize that every hour counts. Before, after my shift, I recuperate by watching reels for 2 hours, mindlessly watching slop until it is time for bed and do it again.

I am meeting new people. The setting of the office is friendly. They have entertainment areas, karaoke, and gym. The people there are seemingly around my age and i think that they are approachable. My coworkers there are easy to be with, you joke around with them, while also learning about the job. The trainers are cool as well. They are teaching us as much as possible on what to learn as a Technical Customer Agent. I work in the BPO industry by the way. Here’s hoping i get to regularization. Back again to the office, we got ourselves 2 floors to use and the rooms are used well. It can accommodate us well, i think? Well i dont really know yet, since i am currently morning shift and the agents are typically present in the night shift. Thinking about being in the nightshift and the benefits of it is exhilarating. Bro im gonna be rich (not really).

Conclusion

I am not gonna sugarcoat it. I hate commuting to the bones. I am just coping with the possibilities of getting more money with the same work time compared to the old job. But is the time spent in my commute worth it? I could use this time to work on myself, gym. But it is instead used to transport myself to my work desk and type to my customers. Well, to be honest, I think i have a lot of opportunity ahead of me as long i hone the skills that i want that would also lead me to wealth, the good life.

Anyways, that's all for this post. See you again. Hopefully i dont post only once a month because that would be wasteful at the money i spent buying this hosting Website 🥲
